ConnCAN recently released a survey which suggests that a "majority" of CT teachers support their agenda.
The truth is that earlier in the school year, we heard from several teachers that they were contacted by a company to take a poll and they had serious concerns about it. One TEA teacher said he responded in frustration because there was no way to answer the questions in a way that reflected his actual opinion. Another teacher said the company called her back to verify her answers and got the responses wrong.
We have learned that other teachers in other districts experienced the same thing. In addition, each of these teachers was under the impression that the CEA was conducting the poll.
Were you contacted in November or December to take a poll about education in CT? If so, would you please send a brief message of your experience to trumbull.ed.association@gmail.com
Thanks.
