Chances to talk about proposed education reform bill - Westport News: "Tuesday, March 27, 7:30 p.m., Weston Town Hall, 56 Norfield Road, Weston: Weston Superintendent of Schools Colleen Palmer and state Sen. Toni Boucher, R-26, will discuss proposed changes to the state's education laws and how they would affect Weston at a public forum Tuesday, March 27, in Weston Town Hall. Boucher is the ranking member of Senate Education Committee, and Palmer is the Southern Fairfield County chairwoman of the Connecticut Association of Public School Superintendents. Woody Bliss, former first selectman and member of Weston's Panel of Moderators, will moderate the forum.

Saturday, March 31, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Fairfield Board of Education Office, 501 Kings Highway, Fairfield: State Sen. John McKinney (R-28) and Reps. Tony Hwang (R-134), Brenda Kupchik (R-132) and Kim Fawcett (D-133) will meet in a town hall meeting to discuss issues concerning residents, including the bill. A meeting for teachers who live in Fairfield to discuss the bill will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m."
